Do you like to knit or crochet?<\/h2>\n

Our new parishioner, Susan Gargano is starting a new Prayer Shawl Ministry here at Resurrection Church.<\/h3>\n

She was a member of this ministry at her last parish, and they made and distributed many shawls, like the one in the photo above, to parishioners, friends, and families who were homebound, hospitalized, sick, or grieving, to nursing homes, hospitals, and to cancer infusion centers.\u00a0The shawls are typically made of washable 4-ply yarn, approx. 22\u201d \u2013 28\u201d in width x 68\u201d in length.<\/p>\n

Our first meeting for the ministry will be on Saturday, December 13th at 10:30 a.m.<\/strong> in the Red Room at our Church.<\/p>\n

The following meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

If you are interested in being a part of our new ministry or want to help to distribute the completed prayer shawls, please join us!<\/p>\n
