Offering of Letters \u2013 Nutrition Programs <\/strong>(United States AND International)<\/strong>
\nThe weekend of April 18\/19, our annual Offering of Letters with Bread for the World will be held after the Masses.\u00a0 We will write short, personal letters to our Senators\/Representative calling for support of nutrition and hunger relief programs.\u00a0 Peace and Justice members will be in the narthex at our writing tables with sample and form letters to help you write.\u00a0 Please stop by for a few minutes to raise your voice as citizens for the hungry with small or no voice. Thank you.<\/p>\n

As people of faith, we are called to give of our time, talent, and treasure for a greater purpose. Bread for the World invites you to use your voice to help end hunger. Every year, Bread for the World organizes churches, community organizations, and people of faith from across the country to write letters to their members of Congress who have the power to impact the policies and programs that can end hunger. By taking part, you will help support domestic and international nutrition programs. Your letter matters. Combined with others from our church and joined with the voices of thousands of advocates across the country\u2014your letter is an expression of faith and hope!
