Bread for the World Weekend – April 18-19, 2026

Offering of Letters – Nutrition Programs (United States AND International)
The weekend of April 18/19, our annual Offering of Letters with Bread for the World will be held after the Masses.  We will write short, personal letters to our Senators/Representative calling for support of nutrition and hunger relief programs.  Peace and Justice members will be in the narthex at our writing tables with sample and form letters to help you write.  Please stop by for a few minutes to raise your voice as citizens for the hungry with small or no voice. Thank you.

As people of faith, we are called to give of our time, talent, and treasure for a greater purpose. Bread for the World invites you to use your voice to help end hunger. Every year, Bread for the World organizes churches, community organizations, and people of faith from across the country to write letters to their members of Congress who have the power to impact the policies and programs that can end hunger. By taking part, you will help support domestic and international nutrition programs. Your letter matters. Combined with others from our church and joined with the voices of thousands of advocates across the country—your letter is an expression of faith and hope!
