About Our Program

Intergenerational and interactive faith formation are at the core of our program. Faith formation occurs twice a month for K-9. On the first Sunday of the month, children & teens in K-9 participate in a family activity along with their parents, attend Mass, and participate in age-specific classes. On the third Sunday of the month, children have regular class. K-5 is in the morning before 10:30 Mass, Grades 6-9 have class after the 4pm Youth Mass. Youth Mass is offered once a month on the third Sunday of the month. There is no adult formation and no family activity on third Sundays, only regular classes for K-9.

First Communion

Congratulations to you and your child during this exciting time in his or her spiritual journey! It is a joy and blessing to walk with you and your child. Preparation occurs during Grade 2 of faith formation. The Church requires children to be 7 years of age at the time they receive the Sacrament. For more details and requirements, please see our handbook.

Confirmation

Congratulations to you and your teen during this exciting time in their spiritual journey! It is a joy and blessing to walk with you and your teen as they move toward an adult faith. Confirmation classes typically begin in 8th Grade and conclude in the spring of 9th grade (2 year program). We have a dynamic team of catechists ready to engage your teen and invite him or her into an active faith life. The program includes interactive games and activities, community building, a retreat, and service opportunities. For more details and requirements, please see our handbook.

Adult Formation

Whether or not you have a child registered in religious education, adult parishioners are invited to attend our first Sunday of the month adult faith formation sessions. Sessions are centered on a monthly theme such as Revelation, Jesus Christ, the Sacraments, and Church. This is the same theme children are learning about in their age-specific classes. Join us for guest sparkers, engaging small group reflections, and the opportunity to build relationships in the parish.
